National Geographic visits Fiji

It goes without saying that I love the National Geographic. Bright, colourful images, engaging stories about man and his environment, and recently, their TV channel taking TV content to a whole new level, National Geographic holds a special place in my heart when it comes to engrossing nature documentaries.
Recently, National Geographic Wild HD has seen fit to swing its all encompassing, HD lens our way, with a close look at our country as a whole, both nature and people wise. With an ominous voice over, looming waves ‘of change’ and even a bit about our use of the cibi with our national rugby team, National Geographic has certainly examined many of the factors that make up our beloved country. Granted it is somewhat general in some instances, but it is a 45 minute slot, so you work with what you get.
Be sure to watch it in HD. Just so that you can see how great Fiji is. And appreciate it a little bit more.
O-shen – Country Boy
Welcome to 2012!
A new year, a new set of resolutions that may or may not be forgotten a month in, a fresh start, it’s tabula rasa all over again.
And what better way to herald in the new year than jamming to the groovy tunes of O-Shen and his single ‘Country Boy’.
Locals will recognise many of the scenes shot in the video, as O-Shen takes a stroll through them singing lyrics that echo much sentiments amongst Pacific Islanders here and abroad.
