If ever there was a time to drop the modesty act and post a shot of your mug (with suitable black strip across eyes) ... this would be it.<br/><br/>I remember being stopped at a checkpoint once. The policemen used to get pretty bored at the all-night checkpoints after the 2000 coup.<br/><br/>They pulled me out of my taxi and emptied my rucksack on the footpath: looking for drugs apparently. Must not have liked the look of my shoulder-length hair and beard.<br/><br/>They took no notice of my protests, and my threats to report the fat, plain-clothes fullah giving the orders unless he showed me some ID.<br/><br/>They gave up after discovering my New Testament (ah! the trappings of church youth group) No picture?
