At any moment in time, when Fiji appears in international media circles, a warm glow strikes my heart. Fiji! The home of white sandy beaches, coconut palm trees, tropical weather, smiley people is on <insert big name media station>!!

Of course, lately it hasn’t been all roses and awesome try scores in the IRB circuit. With the attention that local bloggers have been receiving from the government, this particular news submission caught my eye on Digg:

Hurray! Fiji’s been featured on Digg with a healthy 854 diggs! I was both surprised to see Fiji on Digg, as well as slightly disappointed that it had to do with current affairs instead of having something to do with Ryder. After all, what will all those overseas people think of us now?
