I was looking at my feed reader and one particular headline from the BBC caught my eye.

Pig farmer said charges “hogwash”
A jury in Canada has heard that pig farmer Robert Pickton dismissed murder allegations against him as “hogwash”.

Hilarious! I thought it was a brilliant word play and it doesn’t stop there. Just a few paragraphs later you get this…

‘Pig man’
Most of the women who vanished were prostitutes and drug addicts living in Vancouver’s impoverished Downtown Eastside during the 1990s.
On the police interview tape, Mr Pickton can be seen to give a short laugh when told of the allegations against him.
“Hogwash,” he replies, “I’m just a working guy, a plain working guy is all I am. I’m a pig man.”

I mean you always hear people (women) say, ‘men are pigs‘ but a ‘pig man’?? In this case, an alleged murdering ‘pig man’ who performs Copperfield-esque feats. However, instead of a famous landmark in a famous world city, he makes whores and crack heads disappear instead. If proved guilty, I’m sure those who despise such decadent lifestyles would be showering this guy with medals. Oh, and he’s from Canada.
